Commercial fridge and freezer monitoring

This is monitoring at the appliance level: each fridge and freezer treated as a unit with its own history, thresholds and failure pattern. Useful when the risk is not one big cold room but twenty separate units nobody is watching.

When a unit does fail, the questions afterwards are always the same: when did it start, how long was the product out of range, and can you prove it?

Typically a year or more depending on reporting interval and operating temperature, with low-battery warnings well before a sensor goes quiet. Battery life is shorter in freezers than in chilled units, which is normal and planned for in the maintenance schedule.

It will show the symptoms that usually precede a failure — slower recovery after defrost, gradual temperature creep, more frequent cycling. That is not a prediction, but it is enough for a facilities team to book an engineer before the unit stops rather than after.
